Assam Police Recruitment 2023: State-level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) is looking for qualified candidates for filling up Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up 458 posts of Grade IV Staff in Assam Police, 360 posts of Grade IV Staff in Assam Commando Battalions, 97 posts of Grade IV Staff under DGCD & CGHG, Assam & 13 posts of Cook in Fire & Emergency Services, Assam in the Pay Scale and Grade Pay as shown against each post plus other allowances as admissible under the rules.
According to the Assam Police Recruitment 2023 Notification, the candidate must be between the age of 18 to 40 years as of 01-07-2022. Candidates who meet all of the eligibility requirements for the Assam Police recruitment 2023 will be able to submit their applications through the Assam Police’s official web portal. Applications must be submitted online through the Assam Police website.
The online application will be received with effect from 10-01-2023 and the last date for receiving applications will be 08-02-2023.

As per the official notification of Assam Police Recruitment, 2023, there are 458 vacancies for Grade IV Staff Posts in Assam Police, 360 posts of Grade IV Staff in Assam Commando Battalions, 97 posts of Grade IV Staff under DGCD & CGHG, Assam & 13 posts of Cook in Fire & Emergency Services. There are 928 vacancies for the Posts.
Age limit and relaxable for Assam Police Recruitment 2023:
According to the Assam Police Recruitment Notification, for the posts of Assam Commando Battalions:-
The age of the candidate shall be between 18 to 25 years as on 01-07-2022 to be eligible for the Post. (i.e. Candidate must be born on or before 01.07.2004 and on or after 01.07.1997).
For the posts of Assam Police, DGCD & CHGH, AND F & ES:
The eligible candidate should be between 18 to 40 years as of 01-07-2022 (i.e. Candidate must be born on or before 01.07.2004 and on or after 01.07.1982).
Qualification for Assam Police Recruitment 2023:
As per the official notification of Assam Police Recruitment, the applicant must be an Indian Citizen and a permanent resident of Assam. Candidates must speak Assamese or any other State language fluently.
(i) Multitasking & Maintenance Staff- I (Technical)
Minimum Class VIII passed from a recognized School or Institution and the maximum qualification will be HSSLC or Class XII passed from a recognized Board or Council.
Addition essential qualification /Requirement:
Electrician:
A minimum two-year certificate course from a recognized Industrial Training Institution / Vocational Institute.
Plumber:
A minimum two-year certificate course from a recognized Industrial Training Institution / Vocational Institute.

Pay Scale for Assam Police Recruitment 2023:
The pay scale is 12000-52000, and Grade Pay – 4400 for the post of Attendant 12000-52000, Grade Pay – 3900 for the post of Cook, Barber, Water
Carrier, Dhobi, Cobbler, Grass Cutter & Syce.
