For Sr. Project Manager (Production, Design, and Development) (Equivalent Rank of Lt. Col)-

Desirable–

• The candidate should have a post graduate degree/diploma in Management/Technology etc.

Experience-

• The candidate should have handled up-gradation/modernization and substance projects in respect of Infantry Combat Vehicles and other Armoured Fighting Vehicles in the capacity of Major/Lt.Col or higher post at AHQ.
• The candidate should have knowledge of functioning of Ordnance Factory Board/AVNL, DGQA, Army base Workshop and other stake holders involved with production, upgradation and sustenance of Infantry Combat Vehicles and other Armoured Fighting Vehicles.
• The candidate should have an overall service experience of minimum 15 years in Indian Army.

Desirable-

• The candidate should have worked as a CO or OIC for Mechanized Infantry Unit for minimum two
  years.

For Sr. Project Manager (Maintenance, Design and Development) (Equivalent Rank of Lt. Col)-

• The candidate should have a Bachelor Degree from any recognized university.

Desirable-

• The candidate should have a post graduate degree/diploma in Management/Technology etc.

Experience-

• The candidate should have handled up-gradation/modernization and sustenance projects in respect
  of Infantry Combat Vehicles and other Armoured Fighting Vehicles in the capacity of Major/Lt.Col or higher post at AHQ.
• The candidate should have knowledge of functioning of Ordnance Factory Board/AVNL, DGQA, Army base Workshop and other stake holders involved with production, maintenance, up gradation and sustenance of Infantry Combat Vehicles and other Armoured Fighting Vehicles.
• The candidate should have sound technical knowledge of field maintenance, medium repair and
  overhaul of Armoured Fighting Vehicles(ICV’s and MBT’S) mainly BMP class ICVs.
• The candidate should have an overall service experience of minimum 15 years in Indian Army.

For Jr. Project Manager (Equivalent Rank of Subedar Major/JCOs’s)-

• The candidate should have min 10+2 (or) equivalent examination.

Experience-

• The candidate should have minimum 05 years work experience as a Gunner in Operating BMP
  Class of ICV’s.
• The candidate should have minimum 03 years work experience in the Rank of JCO in Army Base Work shops/DGEME/DGMF etc, and through knowledge of BMP Class of Armoured Fighting Vehicles.
• The candidate should have have an overall service experience of minimum 15 years in Indian Army.

Tenure and Place of Posting for AVNL Recruitment 2024:

The appointment is made on a contract basis. The candidates who are selected for AVNL Recruitment 2024 will be hired initial period of 02 years and may be extended up to 02 years on a requirement basis (Subject to Satisfactory performance).

Place of Posting:

• The place of posting will be Ordnance Factory Medak-Unit of AVNL Located at Yeddumailaram, Sangareddy/Hyderabad-502205.
