DBS is hiring an experienced Assistant Officer, Specialist, Operations, Trns Svcs-Trade Operations, Corporate Banking, Technology And Operations in Tamilnadu. Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank’s operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

The complete details of this job are as follows:

What will you be doing:

To handle foreign inward remittances received by DBS for various customers

To ensure inward remittances are credited basis FEMA regulation

Creation of relateds FIRC and IRM

Daily processing of FCY inwards

To prepare multiple reports like R-return, Cross Border remittance report and DRI report etc

Responsible for multiple reconciliations.

To follow up with respective stakeholders to process the payment smoothly.

Qualifications for this Job:

Upto 2 years in relevant field.

Candidate should aware about basic FEMA guidelines

Knowledge about reporting of applicable transactions under LRS & NRO.

Knowledge about other remittance facilities / miscellaneous remittances.

Fair Understanding of financial services

Understanding on Indian banking operations

Handling queries & adhoc requests

Minimum Graduation (B.Com/ BAF)

Knowledge of banking operations within cross border remittances

Good Excel knowledge

Clearance of FEDAI examination would be an added advantage
