Bank Audit 2022-23: ICAI Releases Draft Bank Branch Auditors Panel (MEF) The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced Draft Bank Branch Auditors Panel (MEF) for the year 2022-23. It will be hosted on Multipurpose Emplanel Form (MEF) Website. Here is the link for the Draft Panel. Kindly note that it is a Draft Panel and the category of the applicants of the MEF for the year 2022-23 is subject to verification of the Financial Documents of the applicants. Changes or inconsistencies if any, will be communicated separately to the applicants. The applicants can view the following details by giving MEF Number or Firm Registration Number (FRN) or Membership Registration Number (MRN) in the case of an individual: MEF No. FRN No. Name of the Applicant Unique Code Number Category District Reason for ineligibility, if any Where appropriate, the applicants would also be able to see in the Draft Panel the justification for any changes made to their category. However, applicants may submit a detailed question at this link with any observations or complaints, and that question will be appropriately addressed and answered on an individual basis. The Draft Panel is accessible till Friday, January 6, 2023. Any complaints must be filed by then if any. The final panel will be forwarded to RBI for their consideration when the questions have been adequately addressed.
