According to the official notification of BDL recruitment 2023, the vacancy is open for the posts of Project Engineers / Project Officer and Project Diploma / Trade Assistant under various trades. There are a total of 33 vacancies for the given posts.

Tenure– The appointment is made on a contractual basis for a period of 1 year which may be extended up to a maximum period of 4 years (including the initial period), based on the Organisational requirement and individual performance.

Age Limit for BDL Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of BDL recruitment 2023, the upper age limit to apply for the above-mentioned posts is 28 years as of the date of the walk-in interview.

For SC- 05 Years

For ST- 05 Years

For OBC (NCL)- 03 Years

For Project Diploma Assistants / Project Trade Assistants. Further, Age relaxation for EX-SM / PwBD will be as per Government directives to the post(s), as applicable.

Salary for BDL Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of BDL recruitment 2023, the monthly remuneration is given below in the table-

In addition to the consolidated remuneration to Project Engineers / Project Officers / Project Diploma Assistants / Project Trade Assistants, Rs.10,000 per year will be paid towards expenses like Medical insurance premium, attire allowance, stitching charges, footwear allowance, etc. The said amount shall be paid in two installments i.e., the First installment to be processed in the first month’s salary after joining and the second installment will be paid after completion of 11 months from the date of joining.

Qualification for BDL Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for BDL recruitment 2023 must have the given below qualifications-

For Project Engineers (Mechanical) and Project Engineers (Electronics)- First Class (60%) in BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc Engg (4 years) / Integrated M.E. / M.Tech. course or equivalent in the concerned discipline from AICTE approved Institute / University.

For Project Engineers (Aeronautical) and Project Officer (Human Resources)– First Class (60%) in MBA/ MSW or PG Diploma – 02 Years Course or equivalent course in Human Resources Management from AICTE approved Institute / University.

For Project Diploma Assistant (Mechanical)- 3 years Diploma or equivalent course in Mechanical Engg. discipline recognized by the State/ Central government.

For Project Diploma Assistant (Electronics)- 3 years Diploma or equivalent course in Electronics & Communication / Electronics Engg. discipline recognized by the State/ Central government.

For Project Trade Assistant (Fitter)- ITI (Fitter) with NAC or equivalent recognized by the State/ Central
Government.

For Project Trade Assistant (Electronic Mech.)- ITI (Electronic Mech. / Radio Mech.) with NAC or equivalent recognized by the State/ Central Government.

Experience- 

• Candidates must possess a minimum of 01 (One) year Post Qualification experience.
• The Experience should be after Essential Qualification(s) in the relevant Industry / Office. Experience in Defence Industry / Defence Labs will be preferred.
• One Year of completed Apprenticeship training will also be considered as experience for
  Project Engineers / Project Diploma Assistants.
• Academic / Teaching experience will not be considered as industrial experience.
• Confirming the number of years of service will be based on the Experience Certificate / Last
• Pay Slip / Offer of Appointment / Provident Fund Statement / ESI membership / Salary Account Bank Statement, etc.
• Experience / Apprenticeship in relevant Defence Labs / Industries (associated with relevant weapon system development) will be preferred.

Selection Procedure for BDL Recruitment 2023:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of walk-in-interview. The interview will be held on the 4th and 5th of March from 8:30 am in Aeronautical Society of India, Suranjan Das Road, Opposite Engine Division, Binna Mangala, New Tippasandra, Bengaluru, Karnataka – 560075.

For Project Engineers / Project Officers- The walk-in-Interview will be held on 4th March 2023.

For Project Diploma / Trade Assistant- The walk-in-Interview will be held on 5th March 2023.
