BHEL Recruitment 2023: The Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) is seeking applications from experienced engineers for the post of Engineer (FTA-CIVIL) and Supervisor (FTA-Civil) on a fixed tenure basis. The BHEL is hiring experienced engineers in the Civil discipline on an FTA Basis. As per BHEL Recruitment 2023 official notification, there are a total of 10 vacancies, 04 for Engineer (FTA-CIVIL) and 06 for Supervisor (FTA-Civil). The selected candidate will receive a salary of up to Rs 82,260 per month. The selected candidate will be hired only for a duration of one year or completion of the project, whichever comes earlier.
Based on the official notification for BHEL Recruitment 2023, the upper age limit to apply for the release vacancies is 34 years. The candidates will be selected on the basis of a personal interview following the shortlisting of eligible candidates. Interested candidates must immediately visit the official website of the BHEL to fill out and submit the online application form. After that, candidates will have to take a printout of the duly filled application form along with relevant documents and the State Bank Collect Payment receipt printout to the concerned authority (mentioned in the official notification attached below). In accordance with the official notification for BHEL Recruitment 2023, the upper age limit for candidates applying for both posts is 34 years as of 1st May 2023. Candidates belonging to OBC (NCL) category will be given 3 years of age relaxation while candidates from SC/ST category will be given 5 years of age relaxation. PwBD candidates will get extra 10 years of age relaxation available for their category.

For Engineer (FTA-CIVIL): Candidates must have done Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Civil Engineering OR 5 Year Integrated Master’s degree OR a Dual Degree Programme in Engineering or Technology in Civil Engineering from a recognized Indian University/Institute. Candidates must have scored a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate (50% marks in aggregate for SC/ST candidates).
For Supervisor (FTA-Civil): Candidates must have done Full-Time Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Indian University/Institute. Candidates must have scored a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate (50% marks in aggregate for SC/ST candidates).
Based on the official notification for BHEL Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates applying for various posts must hold the following experience:
For Engineer (FTA-CIVIL): Candidates should have a minimum of two years of post-qualification experience in the execution of Reinforced Cement Concrete Structures (RCC) / Structural Steel Fabrication and Erection Work / Piling Work / RCC Chimney in Infrastructural Industries such as Power Plant, Steel Plant, and others.
For Supervisor (FTA-Civil): Candidates should hold at least two years of post-qualification experience in the execution of Reinforced Cement Concrete Structures (RCC) / Structural Steel Fabrication and Erection Work / Piling Work / RCC Chimney in Infrastructural Industries such as Power Plant, Steel Plant, and similar industries.
As per BHEL Recruitment 2023 official notification, the candidates will receive monthly salary as per follows:
For Engineer (FTA-CIVIL): The candidate will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs 82,620.
For Supervisor (FTA-Civil): The candidate will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs 46,130.
Apart from the monthly salary, candidates will receive a Mediclaim Policy upto Rs. 2 lakh for Self & Family eligible.
As given in BHEL Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates from the General, OBC, and EWS categories will have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 200. Candidates from SC, ST, and PwBD categories will not be required to pay the application fee.

In case the number of eligible candidates is more than 10 times the available seats, then candidates will be first shortlisted on the basis of the qualifying marks obtained in their Degree/Diploma. The final selection will be made on the basis of the interview performance.
