BHU Placement 2024: MBA Students Land Desired Jobs, with INR 23.5 LPA Highest Offer
BHU Placement 2024: Graduates from the 2024 session were placed on campus by the Institute of Management Studies at Banaras Hindu University (BHU). A pay package of Rs 11.1 lakh per annum (LPA) was the average offered throughout the placement campaign. A remuneration package of Rs 23.5 LPA was the highest that was offered.
The MBA, MBA International Business and MBA Agribusiness programs saw impressive placements, according to Ashutosh Mohan, Placement Coordinator at the Faculty of Management Studies at BHU. An average package of Rs.11.1 lakhs was extended to 165 students across 181 offers, setting a high standard for the upcoming year.

Participating in the placement drive were more than 65 firms, including well-known brands like Infosys, Genpact, Cognizant, Mahindra Finance, Adani Wilmar, and Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicle.
The dean of FMS-BHU and head of corporate affairs and placement, HP Mathur, expressed appreciation for the recruiters’ unwavering trust. 36% of students, he reported, were hired as Executive or Management Trainees. These positions included a variety of profiles, such as those in Sales and Marketing, Finance, Business Excellence, Strategy and Projects, Alliance & Electronic Payments, and Retail Operations.
Senior Consultant roles were seized by 21%:
- Furthermore, 21% of students secured work as Associate or Senior Consultants, with 13% going on to hold Assistant or Deputy Manager positions.
- Prominent players in the BFSI sector, like South Indian Bank, Bandhan Bank, and SBI Life, recruited students in a variety of fields, including marketing, finance, operations, and human resources. Major roles in consulting and analytics were also offered by these companies, among others.
- Several MBA (Agribusiness) students were engaged by DCM Shriram Farm Solutions in the Agribusiness sector, while other students received Pre-Placement Offers.
- Mathur expressed gratitude for the committed work done by the student placement coordination team, which included Premanshu Singh, Abhijeet Chakraverty, Parul Bahotra, Abhishek Yadav, Harshita Sharan Srivastava, and Pranjal K. Rai during the placement season.
- The team’s efforts were praised by Ashish Bajpai, Director of FMS-BHU, who also emphasized the critical role that faculty members play in teaching students to become professionals who are prepared for the workforce. He gave the students high marks for their zeal and dedication to achieving significant advances in the fields of marketing, finance, and human resources.
