Big Relief! MCA Extends Annual Filing Due Date for FY 2024-25 Without Late Fees till Jan 31, 2026
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), Government of India, has recently issued Circular No. 08/2025, dated December 30, 2025, regarding annual filings, addressed to all the Regional Directors, Registrars of Companies, and Stakeholders.
After receiving number of requests from several companies and stakeholders, the Ministry of Finance has decided to extend the due date of filing Financial Statements and Annual Returns [including e-Forms MGT7, MGT-7A, АОС-4, АОС-4 CFS, AOC-4 NBFC (Ind AS), AOC-4 CFS NBFC (Ind AS), and AOC4 (XBRL)] for the Financial Year 2024-25 (Assessment Year 2025-26) to January 31, 2026, without paying any additional or late fees.
All other conditions and instructions mentioned in General Circular No. 06/2025 will remain as they are and unchanged. This action has been taken after taking approval from the Competent Authority.
