Bihar Public Service Commission Probes Alleged TRE -3.0 Question Paper Leak

In a recent development, the Economic and Cyber Crime Division of Bihar, Patna, has issued a report regarding the suspected leaking of the question paper for the Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE -3.0) conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission on March 15th, 2024.

Upon reviewing the report, the Bihar Public Service Commission has revealed that there is a lack of substantial evidence supporting the claim that the question paper was leaked prior to the commencement of the examination on March, 15th 2024.

In response to the alleged leak, a special task force assembled by the Economic and Cyber Crime Division conducted raids in Hazaribagh at 05:00 am on March 15th, 2024. The raids uncovered hundreds of candidates purportedly gathering to memorize answers. Additionally, various electronic devices including mobile phones, laptops, printers, and pen drives were seized during the operation. The Commission was alerted about the suspected leak at 02:30 pm on the exam date, while the second shift examination was already in progress, following the conclusion of the first shift at 12:00 pm.

The case of the alleged question paper leak is currently under investigation by the Economic Offenses Unit. The Bihar Public Service Commission has urged the unit to provide concrete evidence regarding the purported leak and answers before the examination commenced.

The Commission has stated that it will investigate the matter and make a decision regarding the fate of the third phase of the Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE -3.0) held on 15th March, 2024 upon receiving the necessary evidence and information.
