As given in the notification of BSF recruitment 2023, applications are invited for the posts of ASI, HC, Constable (General Operator), Constable ( General Mechanic) and Constable (Lineman).

Age Limit for BSF Recruitment 2023:

Candidates between the age of 18 to 24 can apply for BSF recruitment 2023 as of the closing date of receipt of online applications.

Salary for BSF Recruitment 2023:

As given in the notification of BSF recruitment 2023, candidates will be given a monthly remuneration of up to Rs. 92300.

For ASI (DM Gde-III)- Candidates will be given a monthly remuneration between Rs. 29,200-92,300 as per the 7th CPC.

For HC (Pump operator )- Candidates will be given a monthly remuneration between Rs.25,500-81,100 as per the 7th CPC.

For Constable (General Operator), Constable ( General Mechanic) and Constable ( Lineman)- Candidates will be given a monthly remuneration between Rs.21,700-69,100 as per the 7th CPC.

Qualification for BSF Recruitment 2023:

Candidates must have the given below qualifications to apply for BSF recruitment 2023-

For ASI (DM Gde-III)-

• Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
• Diploma course in Draftsmanship (Civil) from Industrial Training Institute or equivalent recognized University or Institution.
• Desirable- Diploma in Civil Engineering.

For HC (Pump Operator)- A matriculation pass or its equivalent with Industrial Training Institute (ITI)
Certificate in the trade of Pump Operator or three years experience in the respective trade from a reputed firm.

For Constable (Generator Operator)- Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board with Industrial
Training Institute Certificate in the trade (i.e. Electrician or Wireman or Diesel /Motor Mechanic) from a recognized institute and three years experience in the respective trade from a firm recognized by the Central or State Government.

For Constable (Generator Mechanic)- Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board with Industrial Training Institute Certificate in Diesel/Motor Mechanic from a recognized institute and three years experience in the respective trade from a firm recognized by the Central or State Government.

For Constable (Lineman)- Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board with Industrial Training
Institute Certificate from a recognized institute in the trade of Electrical wireman or Lineman and three years experience in the respective trade from a firm recognized by the Central or State Government.

Selection Procedure for BSF Recruitment 2023:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination, document verification, physical standard test, physical efficiency test, trade test, and medical examination.

After completion of the Medical examination, post-wise and category-wise merit lists will be drawn separately on the basis of marks secured/obtained by the candidates in the written examination.
