Post Name and Vacancies for BSF Recruitment 2024:

BSF is looking for eligible candidates for the posts of Group-‘B’ and ‘C’ Combatised (Non-Gazetted). There are 178 vacant seats available for the aforementioned positions, as per the official notification for BSF Recruitment 2024.

Age Limit for BSF Recruitment 2024:

Referring to the official notification of the BSF Recruitment 2024, the age limit is given below:

For SI (Mater) and SI (Engine Driver)-

• The applicant’s maximum age limit should be between 22 to 28 years old.

For HC (Master), HC (Engine Driver), HC (Workshop) and Constable (Crew) –

• The applicant’s maximum age limit should be between 20 to 25 years as on closing date of receipt of online application.

Required Qualifications for BSF Recruitment 2024:

As informed by the official notification of the BSF Recruitment 2024, the required qualification are given below:

For SI (Master) –

• The candidate should have 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Board or University; and
• The candidate should have 2nd class master certificate issued by Central/State Inland Water Transport Authority/ Mercantile Marine Department.

For HC (Master)-

• The candidate should have Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent; and
• The candidate should have Serang Certificate

For Constable (Crew)-

• The candidate should have Matriculation from a recognized Board equivalent.
• The candidate should have One year experience in operation of Boat below 265 HP.
• The candidate should be know swimming in deep water without any assistance.

Salary for BSF Recruitment 2024:

Based on the official notification of the BSF Recruitment 2024, the salary is mentioned below:

For SI (Master)-

• The selected candidates will be paid a monthly salary in Level-6 (Rs. 35400- Rs. 112400).

For HC (Master and Engine)-

• The selected candidates will be paid a monthly salary in Level-4 (Rs. 25500- Rs. 81100).

For Constable-

• The selected candidates will be paid a monthly salary in Level-3 (Rs. 21700- Rs. 69100).

Application Fee for BSF Recruitment 2024:

Based on the official notification of BSF Recruitment 2024, the applicant must deposit an application fee of Rs. 200 for SI (Master/Engine Driver) and Rs.100 for HC (Master/Engine Driver/Workshop) and Constable (Crew) as examination fee plus Rs 47.20 service charges levied by Common Service Centre (CSC) through online mode.

Selection Procedure for BSF Recruitment 2024:
