BUDGET 2022: 400 New Vande Bharat Trains Announced in Budget The Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is presenting her fourth Union Budget in Parliament in a paperless manner, like she did last year. Domestic and foreign investors, as well as other interest groups such as farmers, crypto investors, worried middle class and business organisations, as well as MPs, will be watching the Budget address closely. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in her Budget statement on Tuesday announced the introduction of 400 new Vande Bharat trains. She stated that one product, one railway station, and 400 new Vande Bharat trains would be popularized. Vande Bharat is a gorgeous 16-coach railway set that lacks a separate locomotive. Its first prototype was completed by the end of 2018 at the government-owned Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai. So far, two such trains have been built, one of which runs between Delhi and Varanasi and the other between Delhi and Katra (Jammu and Kashmir).
