CA Avinash Vasant Prabhu Appointed as CFO of Union Bank of India Union Bank of India (Public sector lender) appointed Avinash Vasant Prabhu as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a three-year tenure on November 20. The bank said in its regulatory filing that we are pleased to announce that CA Avinash Vasant Prabhu has been appointed as the bank's Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in place of CA Prafulla Kumar Samal. With over 25 years of experience, Avinash Vasant Prahu is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and seasoned Finance Professional. Earlier, he was the CFO of India for Deutsche Bank, where he was responsible for Financial Reporting (Group and Regulatory), Business and Infrastructure Finance, ALM, Tax, Transformation, and Financial Planning and Strategy. Prahu previously worked as the CFO of Credit Agricole CIB India and as a Manager at Arthur Andersen.
