CA Day 2025: PM Modi Acknowledges the Vital Role of CAs in Economy of India Every Year on 1 July, India celebrates Chartered Accountants Day to mark the establishment of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) in 1949. Just like last, this year also, CA Day received special recognition from the highest levels of government. Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his warm wishes to the CA community, acknowledging their invaluable contribution to the nation. According to a post shared by PM Modi on platform X (formerly Twitter), he wrote, "Wishing all Chartered Accountants a very happy CA Day! Their precision and expertise are essential for every organisation. By emphasising on compliance and transparency, they contribute to a healthy economy. Their role in nurturing successful corporations is also outstanding."
