CA Exam Protest : Rahul Gandhi supports demand for ICAI Exam Revaluation
CA Students, demanding revaluation of their answer sheets have found support from congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Rahul Gandhi on his twitter handle wrote ” Across India 12 Lakh CA students are fighting for their right to have their exam papers re-evaluated by ICAI. Given the widespread reports of errors in the evaluation of answer sheets, this demand is justified & should be supported by all political parties. “

The Chartered Accountancy Students have protested that their question papers specially at Inter and Final Stages are not being check properly. Students have started protests against ICAI in agitation of above situation.
In Wake of news of CA Exam Protest, ICAI had also on 26th September 2019, constituted a High Level Independent Committee (HLIC) to look into the CA Examination processes/ Regulations governing CA Examinations including Regulation 39(4) of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988 and suggest changes wherever required in the ICAI examination system.

Draft report of the High Level Independent Committee on Exam Processes, Regulations and ICAI Exam Revaluation came on 14th Feburary 2020, but it seems students were not happy with the suggestions made.
