CA held guilty for Professional Misconduct, ICAI Removes name from member register
Three CA's were held guilty for professional misconduct and their names have been removed from the Register of Members for a period of 03 (three) months with effect from 20th December, 2019 by Disciplinary Committee of ICAI.
Besides Removal of Name from the Register of Members for a period of 03 (three) months, ICAI has also imposed a fine on them.
In terms of the provisions of Section 21B(3) of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 read with Rules 18(17) and 19(1) of the Chartered Accountants (Procedure of Investigations of Professional and Other Misconduct and Conduct of Cases) Rules, 2007, the Disciplinary Committee of ICAI has held 3 CA's Guilty for Professional Conduct. Their names have been notified as given below:
- CA. Abhishek Saxena (Membership No. 400964), G-36, Tarun Path, Shyam Nagar, Opp. Dana Pani Restaurant, Jaipur- 302 019
- CA. Punit Godawat (Membership No. 402148), C-42, Hari Marg, Opp. Kardhani Shopping Centre, Malviya Nagar, Jaipur-302 017
- CA. Kamal Mehta (Membership No. 071500), M/s. K Mehta & Associates, 65, Sardar Patel Marg, C-Scheme, Jaipur 302 001
