Step by Step Guide On How to Recover Aadhaar Card

Here is how you can recover your Aadhaar card:

  • Step 1: Reach out to UIDAI via call at the helpline number 1947.
  • Step 2: They will ask for some basic details like name, address, and date of birth. After getting this information, they will provide you with the EID number.
  • Step 3: Use the EID number to find out your Aadhaar number through IVRS or the website.

  • Step 1: Go to the official website of UIDAI.
  • Step 2: Click on “Retrieve UID/EID“.
  • Step 3: Select one of these options and submit the required information.
  • Step 4: Enter the OTP sent to your mobile number and then enter the Captcha code.
  • Step 5: You will receive your Aadhaar number by SMS.

  • Step 1: Call on the UIDAI helpline number at 1947 and choose the IVRS option.
  • Step 2: They will ask your basic details like name, date of birth, your address and EID. After giving this information, you can get yourself registered.
