CAT Answer Key 2024 Expected to be OUT Today at iimcat.ac.in, Know Procedure to Download

CAT Answer Key 2024: Indian Institute of Management, (IIM) Calcutta is soon expected to release the Common Admission Test (CAT) Answer Key 2024 and Response Sheet. As per the previous updates, the CAT Answer Key 2024 is anticipated to be released today, November 29, 2024.

This year, the CAT 2024 exam was conducted on November 24, 2024, across all over the country in three shifts in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The first shift was from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, the second was from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM and the third one was from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Approximately 3 lakh candidates appeared for the exam. Every year, students are admitted to postgraduate management programs offered by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) and other participating management institutes in India through the Common Admission Test (CAT), a computer-based test (CBT).

The exam was divided into three sections, each with 68 questions: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC)-24, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR)-22, and Quantitative Ability (QA)-22. Candidates had 120 minutes to finish the entire paper in each section.

Gautam Puri, Co-Founder and MD of Career Launcher earlier stated, “There were a total of 68 questions which were to be attempted in 120 minutes. The overall difficulty level of this year’s exam was higher than that of the first slot of CAT 2023.”

According to the CAT 2024 slot three, CATKing stated, “upheld the exam’s reputation for diversity in question types, moderate complexity, and the need for strategic time management. While the paper was considered slightly lengthier than previous slots, it remained balanced, with ample opportunities for aspirants to secure high scores with focused attempts.”
