CBDT & CBIC Signs MOU for exchange of Information An MOU has been signed between CBIC [Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs] and CBDT [Central Board of Direct Taxes]. The purpose of this MOU is data exchange between these 2 organizations. The motive of this MOU is:
  • This MoU will facilitate the sharing of data and information between CBDT and CBIC on an automatic and regular basis.
  • CBDT and CBIC will also exchange with each other, on request and spontaneous basis, any information available in their respective databases.
