CBI Arrests Ex SBI Cashier in Rs. 11 crore Coin Fraud Case The CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) has caught Rajesh Kumar Meena, who used to work as a cashier at the State Bank of India in Mehandipur Balaji, Rajasthan. He was on the run for almost three years. Meena is accused of stealing about 11 crore rupees through a coin fraud at the bank. After searching for a long time, the CBI finally found him on April 9, 2025, in a village called Bhesina in Bharatpur district, Rajasthan. The case started back in 2021 when the local police first filed a report. The CBI took over the case in April 2022 after the Rajasthan High Court told them to. On April 8, 2025, the CBI filed charges against Meena and some other bank workers. When they caught Meena the next day, they took him to court in Jaipur. The judge ordered that he stay with the police for 5 days so they could ask him more questions. The CBI is still looking into the case to find out if other people helped with the fraud.
