CBI Coordinates Return of Murder accused from Saudi Arabia
The Central Bureau of Investigation's Global Operation Centre (NCB-India) worked with INTERPOL channels, and the Red Notice Subject (who had been missing for several years) was tracked down in Saudi Arabia.
On November 23, 2023, a team from Kerala Police returned him from Saudi Arabia to India with the assistance of INTERPOL NCB - Riyadh.
The Kerala Police searched him in connection with Crime No. 192/2006 of Thumba Police Station, Thiruvanathapuram City (Kerala) for murder and other offences.
At the request of Kerala Police, IPSG issued a Red Notice against him on May 26, 2021. A Red Notice was issued to all International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) member countries requesting the location and arrest of the accused.
