CBI held an Assistant Garrison Engineer in a Bribery case of Rs. 1,10,000 The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) held an Assistant Garrison Engineer (AGE/Contract) working at the Office of the Garrision Engineer, MES, Kota (Rajasthan) for allegedly demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs. 1,10,000 from the complainant. A complaint was filed against the accused, and a case was initiated. It was claimed that the Assistant Garrison Engineer (AGE/Contract) working in the office of the Garrison Engineer, Kota (Rajasthan), demanded Rs. 1,50,000 for passing the pending bills and Rs. 10,000 for extending the complainant's previous tenders. The CBI set a trap and caught the accused red-handed while demanding and accepting a bribe/ undue advantage from the complainant in the amount of Rs. 1,10,000. The CBI searches were conducted at the accused's office and premises in Kota (Rajasthan) and Ghazipur (Uttar Pradesh), resulting in the recovery of incriminating documents. Today, the arrested accused is scheduled to appear in the Court of Special Judge, CBI Cases, Jaipur (Rajasthan).
