Post Name and Vacancies for CBIC Recruitment 2024:

Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) is looking for qualified applicant for Indirect Tax Internship Scheme for FY 2024. A maximum of ten Law students and ten Law graduates (total twenty) will be taken at a time for an internship.

Qualification for CBIC Recruitment 2024:

Candidates must have the given below qualifications to apply for CBIC Recruitment 2024.

For Law Student:

• Law students who are pursuing the 2nd year of a 3-year LLB course/the 4th year of a 5-year integrated LLB course.

For Law Graduate:

• Law graduates who have completed 3-year LLB course/5-years integrated LLB course for not more than two years i.e. the final exam passed should be not before the year 2022.

Students who have appeared in the final year/ semester examination on the cutoff date are eligible to apply for the Law graduate category. Such candidates, applying as having appeared in the final year/ semester examination, will have to show proof of having passed the LLB/integrated LLB course at the time of joining.

Tenure for CBIC Recruitment 2024:

The tenure for CBIC Recruitment 2024 is mentioned below-

• Law students- The appointment is for one to two months. The period of internship may be increased to the maximum total period of three months by the Principal Commissioner/Commissioner, Directorate of Legal Affairs on mutual agreement.
• Law Graduate- The appointment is for upto six months. The period of internship may be increased to the maximum total period of one year by the Principal Commissioner/Commissioner, Directorate of Legal Affairs on mutual agreement.

Stipend for CBIC Recruitment 2024:

The stipend offered to the selected candidates for CBIC Recruitment 2024 is mentioned below-

Law students- The selected candidates will get a stipend of Rs. 5000.

Law Graduate- The selected candidates will get a stipend of Rs. 15000.
