The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has shared an update on platform 'X' (formerly Twitter), informing about the new "GST Ready Reckoner." Basically, CBIC is announcing that the latest GST rates on goods (under Central GST) have been updated through an official notification dated September 17, 2025.
A ready reckoner is basically a quick reference guide. In this case, it is a document that shows the latest updated Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) rates on goods.
The new CGST rates on goods are as of 22.09.2025, meaning the Ready Reckoner is valid as of September 22, 2025 [Notification No. 09/2025-Central Tax (Rate), dated 17th September 2025].
