CBSE Board Result 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is soon anticipated to announce the results for board examinations 2025. However, the official date and time for result release have been declared yet. This year examinations for CBSE Board class 10th and 12th were held between February 15 and March 18, 2025.
More than 40 lakh students who appeared for the CBSE board exams are now eagerly awaiting the announcement of their results. The CBSE Class 10 and 12 results are expected to be declared in the mid of May. In 2024, both Class 10 and 12 results were released on the same day, i.e. May 13. A similar timeline is anticipated this year as well. Once announced, students will be able to view their results and download their marksheets from the official CBSE website,cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.gov.in, and results.gov.in. In addition to the website, results will also be accessible via the UMANG app and DigiLocker platform. Students will be required to enter their roll number, school number, admit card ID, date of birth, and security pin to access their results via the official website.
The CBSE no longer publishes merit lists, as they are believed to encourage unhealthy competition among students. This practice was first discontinued in 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, when schools were closed nationwide. This year, over 42 lakh students took part in the board exams, with 24.12 lakh students from Class 10 and 17.88 lakh from Class 12. The exams were conducted at 7,842 centres across India and in 26 other countries around the world.
