CBSE Board Result 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to declare the results for classes 10th and 12th by this week. The board has not announced the official date and time for the CBSE Board Result 2025 declaration. As per the past trends, CBSE releases the board results for both classes simultaneously by the mid of May. Like last year, CBSE Board Class 10th and 12th Result 2024 were announced on May 13. Hence, this year also the it is expected that the board will follow the same. After result release, the scorecard will be accessible at the official website of CBSE - cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, and results.cbse.nic.in. The board has requested all its student not to trust fake websites, always wait for official notices. CBSE Board marsheet includes details such as examinee's roll number, admit card ID, school code, and date of birth, on it. In order to overcome academic pressure and unhealthy competition among students, board has introduced Relative Grading system, set to be effective from session 2024-25. This newly launched grading system is totally different then the earlier one. Earlier, grades were given based on fixed marks; for instance, 91–100 meant an A1 grade, 81–90 meant an A2, and so on. But now, grades are given by comparing how well a student did compared to others in the same group. This means the grade depends on how many students passed and how everyone performed in that subject. This year, over 42 lakh students appeared for the CBSE Board Examinations 2025, administered between February 15 and April 4. Among these, class 10th examinations were commenced on February 15 and concluded on March 18, 2025. Similarly, class 12th examinations commenced on February 15 and concluded on April 04, 2025. This year, more than 40 lakh students took part in the exams, with 24.12 lakh appearing for Class 10th and 17.88 lakh for Class 12th. Last year, 22,38,827 students took part in class 10th examinations and 20,95,467 (93.60%) students successfully passed. Similarly, 12,16,21,224 students took part for class 12th examinations and 14,26,420 (87.98%) students passed.
