CBSE Class 10th English Syllabus 2024-25: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the Class 10th English Syllabus 2024-25 on their official website, i.e., cbseacadamic.nic.for the new academic session. Each and every unit and section in the CBSE Class 10th English Syllabus 2024-25 has been provided and described briefly for the understanding and proper time management of the new academic batch- (2024-25). Furthermore, the CBSE Board has issued the curriculum for all subjects such as all language, core and elective subjects. The syllabus was released too early to provide the students with an idea of making a scheduled timetable and well-designed strategy to perform better in the CBSE Class 10th English Exam 2024-25.
CBSE Class 10th English Syllabus 2024-25 comprised two parts –language and literature. The Exam pattern of CBSE Class 10th English Syllabus 2024-25 is given below:
As per the curriculum provided by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the CBSE Class 10th English Syllabus 2024-25 will include the Reading section of (20 marks), the Writing Section of (20 marks) and the literature section of all (40 Marks). Significantly, it can be understood that the CBSE Class 10th English Syllabus 2024-25 is still unchanged as the previous year’s syllabus.

9. Two out of Three Short Answer Type Questions to be answered in 40-50 words each from FOOTPRINTS WITHOUT FEET to assess interpretation, analysis, inference and evaluation. (2×3=6 marks)
10. One out of two Long Answer Type Questions from FIRST FLIGHT to be answered in about 100-120 words each to assess creativity, imagination and extrapolation beyond the text and across the text. This can be a passage-based question taken from a situation/plot from the text. (6 marks)
11. One out of two Long Answer Type Questions from FOOTPRINTS WITHOUT FEET, on theme or plot involving interpretation, extrapolation beyond the text and inference or character sketch to be answered in about 100-120 words. (6 marks)

The Internal Assessment in the CBSE Class 10th English Syllabus 2024-25 will hold the weightage of the remaining 20 Marks, in which the marks of the Assessment of Speaking and Listening (ASLs), Practical Examinations and Portfolio will be added. The format of the Internal Assessment of CBSE Class 10th English Syllabus 2024-25 is given below:
