CBSE Class 12th Result 2023: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the result for class 12th today, 12th May 2023. The CBSE has released the result for all streams like Arts, Commerce, and Science on its official website. Students who have appeared for the exam can view their results through the official website. Students can also access their results through Digi locker. This year again girls outperformed boys by obtaining a 6.01% higher pass percentage than the boys. The Board will not release the merit list and toppers list this year.
The CBSE class 12th result pass percentage saw a dip this year. The overall pass percentage this year is 87.33% which is lower than the previous year’s pass percentage of 92.71%. The CBSE organized the exams for CBSE class 12th from 15th February to 5th April 2023. The exams were held in offline mode. The duration of the exam was 3 hours. Most papers were held from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. The practical exams for the concerned subjects were held from 2nd January to 14th February 2023. Around 16,96,770 students registered for the CBSE class 12th examination 2023. The number of female students registered for the exam was 7,45,433. Around 9,51,332 male candidates registered for the class 12th exam in 2023. The exams were conducted at 6759 centers across the country.
Observing the pass percentage and other stats, it is evident that the boys were once again outshined by the girls. The overall pass percentage also decreased significantly from the previous year, by more than 5%. The pass percentage of girls and boys, both have decreased as compared to the previous year. Percentage of students who scored above 90%: 6.80%
Number of students who scored above 95%: 22622 (1.36% students)
Best-performing School: Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (97.51% pass percentage)
To avoid unhealthy competition among students, the CBSE has decided not to publish the Class 12 merit list. Furthermore, no first, second, or third divisions were awarded by CBSE. The board stated that it will offer merit awards to the top 0.1% of students in each subject. The Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, congratulated girls for their outstanding performance and advised students to not lose their hearts for bad performance. For keeping the collective spirit happy, the board decided not to release the toppers list.

Step 3: Enter your login details like your school number, roll number, and admit card id, and click on submit button
Step 4: Your CBSE class 12th result 2023 will appear on the screen
