CBSE Organizing Online Capacity Building Program for Counselors and Teachers

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is offering online capacity-building programs for counsellors and teachers. The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020’s goals, which highlight the value of comprehensive counselling in the educational system, are aligned with this initiative.

The goal of the program is to improve the knowledge and abilities of educators and counsellors in the areas of psychosocial and career counselling. Teachers who take part will be more equipped to assist kids in planning for future success, setting realistic objectives, and investigating career alternatives.

Timetable for virtual sessions:

Online testing will be used to administer the CBPs. Each class will last for two hours.

Important things to remember:

• Ten minutes before the sessions begin, a link to the live session will be accessible on the registration page.
• Principals, counsellors, and teachers who participate may speak with the mentor/resource person and pose questions.
• Attending the same is advised for any school teachers who are interested in learning more about the subjects.
• Attendance for the entire session is mandatory for the participants.
• Only those who attend the entire session and complete the assessment and feedback form—which will be activated following the online session—will receive a certificate of attendance. You may find the link to the evaluation and feedback form on the registration page.
• The assessment and feedback form needs to be completed in one day.
