The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is accepting online applications from competent and experienced individuals for the following positions: Senior Accounts Officer, Under Secretary (Legal), Section Officer (Legal), Internal Auditor and Financial Advisor. For the designated position, there are 04 open positions.

Tenure for CBSE Recruitment 2024:

As per the official notification of CBSE Recruitment 2024, the appointment is made on a deputation basis for 03 years. The period of deputation can be extended on a year-to-year basis after normal tenure on deputation as per GoI norms subject to a maximum of 5 years.

Place of Posting for CBSE Recruitment 2024:

The official notification from Delhi and Any of the Regional Offices will determine the candidate’s assignment to either office.

Qualification and Experience for CBSE Recruitment 2024:

Candidates applying for the CBSE  Recruitment 2024 must have the following qualifications and experience.

Under Secretary (Legal)

• Candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree from recognized University/Institution.
• Applicant must have a Law Degree from a recognized University/School/College.
• Aspirants must have at least 03 years experience in of handling legal matters in the offices of Central Govt./State Govt./Autonomous Organizations/Universities/ Recognised Boards/ Autonomous Educational Organizations of Central Govt./State Govt./UT Administrations.

Section Officer (Legal)

• Candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University/Institution.
• Applicant must have a Law Degree from a recognized University/School/College.
• Aspirants must have at least 03 years of experience in the field of handling legal
  cases in a Central Govt./State Govt./Autonomous Organizations/Universities/ Recognised Boards/ Autonomous Educational Organization of Central Govt./State Govt./UT Administrations.

Age Limit for CBSE Recruitment 2024:

The maximum age for an applicant to be eligible for CBSE Recruitment 2024 is 56 years old.

Eligibility for CBSE Recruitment 2024:

Referring to the official notification of CBSE Recruitment 2024, aspirants must have the following eligibility.

Internal Auditor and Financial Advisor

• Officers belonging to Audit/Accounts/Finance Cadre/ Service/ posts in Central/State Govts/Union Territories/ Public Sector Under takings/ Autonomous Bodies/ Statutory Organisations:-

1. Holding analogous posts on a regular basis;
   OR
2. With 05 years regular service in the Pay Level-12 of 7th CPC(Rs.78800-209200) or equivalent pay grade
   OR
3. With 10 years of regular service in the Pay Level-11 of 7th CPC (Rs.67700-112100) or equivalent pay grade
   And
4. Possessing experience of handling Administrative and Financial Budget/ Accounts/ Audit matters in a responsible capacity

Senior Accounts Officer

• Officers belonging to Audit/Accounts/Finance Cadre/ Service/ posts in Central/State Govts/Union Territories/ Public Sector Undertakings/ Autonomous Bodies/ Statutory Organisations:-

1. Holding analogous posts on a regular basis;
   OR
2. With 04 years of regular service in the Pay Level -9/Level-10 of 7th CPC or equivalent pay grade
   OR
3. With 08 years of regular service either in Pay-Level-7/Level-8 of 7th CPC or combined regular service in Level-7 & Level-8 of 7th CPC or equivalent pay grade
   And
4. Possessing experience in the field of Accounts compilation, Budget, Internal Audit, Commercial Accounting etc.
