CBSE Result 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release the result for the Board exams of Class 10 anytime soon. More than 44 lakh students have given the Class 10th board exam this year and are eagerly waiting for the result. It is expected that the result will be out by the second week of May 2025. Previously in 2024, the CBSE Class 10 and 12 results were announced on May 13 2024, and it is expected that the results are likely to be out in the same timeframe.
When the Class 10 Board exam Result is declared, students will be able to download it from the official website of the CBSE, cbseresult.nic.in and cbse.gov.in, by filling in the requisite details like roll number, school number, and admit card ID. The result will play an important role in giving direction to the careers of the students.
Moreover, students can also avail themselves of their provisional marksheets via digilocker app, which has become a useful platform for the students to keep their marksheets safe and secure and access their documents.

CBSE Result 2025: Class 10th Previous year performance of Girls and Boys
- In May 2024, girls significantly outperformed boys with a 94.25% pass rate compared to boys' 92.27%, maintaining their academic advantage by a margin of 1.98 percentage points.
- The 2023 results showed identical performance metrics, with girls again achieving a 94.25% pass rate while boys reached 92.27%, demonstrating girls' consistent academic edge across consecutive years.
- During the July 2022 session, girls achieved an impressive 95.21% pass rate, surpassing boys' 93.80% rate by 1.41 percentage points despite the overall slight decline from pandemic-era peaks.
- The pandemic-affected 2021 session saw exceptional results for both genders, yet girls still maintained superiority with 99.24% passing compared to boys' 98.89%, continuing their academic dominance.
- In July 2020, the gender performance gap was most pronounced, with girls achieving a 93.31% pass rate while boys trailed at 90.14%, representing the largest disparity of 3.17 percentage points in the five-year dataset.
