CCI Approves L Catterton’s Acquisition of Stake in Haldiram Snacks Food Pvt Ltd
The Competition Commission of India has recently issued a press release regarding approval of the proposed acquisition of certain shareholdings of Haldiram Snacks Food Pvt. Ltd by L.Catterton India Fund.
CCI has approved the proposed acquisition of certain shareholdings of Haldiram Snacks Food Pvt Ltd by L. Catterton India Fund. The proposed combination involves the acquisition of a certain shareholding, on a fully diluted basis, in Haldiram Snacks Food Private Limited (the Target) by L Catterton India Fund (the Acquirer).
L. Catterton India Fund is an investment fund based in India. It is registered with SEBI (the financial regulator) as a Category II Alternative Investment Fund. Its main work is to invest money in Indian companies.
Haldiram Snacks Food Pvt Ltd, along with its related companies, makes and sells many food products. These include snacks, sweets, ready-to-eat food, dairy items, bakery products, chocolates, and non-carbonated ready-to-drink beverages.
