Central Railway Recruitment 2022: The Medical Department of Central Railway has notified vacancies in the department and for the recruitment to the Senior Resident Doctor Positions in various departments. There are a total of 4 Vacancies for the Post. The upper age limit for appointment as Senior Residents will be 40 years for those having post-graduate qualifications. For Senior Residents having postgraduate Degrees, the Pay will be Rs. 26950 (Basic) + Rs. 6600 (Grade pay) + NPA & other relevant allowances as per Railway Board’s guidelines issued from time to time.
The Department will be conducting a walk-in interview on 10/01/2023, at 11.30 hrs. at Medical Director’s Office, Dr. B. A. M. Hospital, Phone No. 022 674 52945. Verification documents from 9:30 am to 11:30 am Walk-in Interviews start at 12 Noon onwards as per the Central Railway Recruitment 2022 advertisement.

The upper age limit for appointment as Senior Residents will be 40 years for those having post-graduate qualifications. and the age limit relaxation by 5 years for SC/ST candidates. Railways may be allowed to relax the age limit from 37 years to 40 years as done by institutions like AIIMS in a particular specialty where they normally find it difficult to have senior Residents. This should be done with the approval of the General Manager. This relaxation of age will be considered only if there is no candidate or applicants who satisfy the laid age limit of 33/35yrs (PG/DM).
The contract of appointment for Senior Residents will be one year. The total period of Senior Residency cannot exceed the maximum period of three years subject to renewals.
For Senior Residents having postgraduate Degrees, the Pay will be Rs. 26950 (Basic) + Rs. 6600 (Grade pay) + NPA & other relevant allowances as per Railway Board’s guidelines issued from time to time.
The eligible candidate should hold a Post Graduate Degree /DM/DNB or Diploma in the concerned specialty from a university recognized by the state/ Central Government.
