Chartered Accountant, Indian-Origin Tesla CFO Emerges World’s Highest-Paid Executive
An Indian-origin finance expert CFO Vaibhav Taneja has become the highest paid executive in the world in 2024. He is the CFO of Tesla and his total pay for this year is around Rs. 1,155 crore. This amount has crossed the earnings of big tech leaders such as Microsoft’s Satya Nadella and Google’s Sundar Pichai.

The CFO’s story is inspiring for all of us. He was born and brought up in India, graduated from Delhi University. He completed his CA journey from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). After that, he moved to USA and became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
He started his career at PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers), where he gained his valuable experience in global finance. In 2016, he a company named SolarCity which was led by Elon Musk.
