On 18.02.2022, Chennai Customs rummaged Indigo flight no.6E066 arriving from Dubai and found gold bars concealed in hollow pipe of the seat.
Based on specific Input from DRI CZU, Team of AIU officers rummaged Indigo flight and seized 6 Gold Bars weighing 699 grams worth Rs. 30.62 Lakhs.
Custom officials seized 6 gold bars worth Rs.30.62 lakhs under the CA,1962.
Further investigation is under process.
