Manager/ Deputy Manager/ Assistant Manager (Electrical and Mechanical):
The candidates should have a B.E /B. Tech (EEE) graduate from a Government recognized University /Institute, approved by AICTE /UGC.
Manager (Environment):
The candidates should have an M.E /M. Tech (Environmental Engineering) Postgraduate from a Government recognized University /Institute, approved by AICTE /UGC.
Assistant Manager (Environment):
The candidates should have a full-time M.E /M. Tech (Environmental Engineering) Postgraduate from a Government recognized University /Institute, approved by AICTE /UGC.

Experience required according to the Job Posts is as mentioned below:
Deputy General Manager (Electrical and Mechanical):
The candidates should be in JAG grade in Group (A) with at least 06 years or Group B with at least 10 years of experience.
Manager (Environment):
The candidates should have at least 07 years of post-qualification experience for the Manger level, and 04 years of post-qualification experience for Government recognized University / Institute, approved by AICTE /UGC.
Manager/ Deputy Manager/ Assistant Manager (Electrical and Mechanical):
The candidates should have at least 07 years of post-qualification experience at the Manger level, 04 years of post-qualification experience at the Deputy Manager level and 02 years of post-qualification experience for the Assistant Manager level in the field of MEP / E and M.
Assistant Manager (Environment):
The candidates must have at least 02 years of post-qualification experience in conducting the fieldwork and coordinating the activities with the existing ones, reviewing and monitoring the implementation of environmental management aspects like Air Quality, Water Quality, Landscape and Tree cutting/transplantation, Noise, Vibration and Waste Management.
According to the official notification of Chennai Metro Rail Recruitment 2023, the tenure of the appointment will be on a deputation/ contractual basis for an initial period of deputation will be for a period of 03 years, which may be extendable upto 05 years.
