Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL), a Joint Venture of the Government of India and the Government of Tamil Nadu, is a special purpose vehicle (SPV) entrusted with the responsibility of implementing the Metro Rail Project in the city of Chennai. Qualification Required for CMRL recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for the post of General Manager under CMRL should have a bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) / Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) or a combination of any of these disciplines from a Govt. recognized Institute/university approved by AICTE/UGC.

Salary for CMRL recruitment 2023:

The candidate is selected on a contract basis will get a monthly salary of Rs. 225000

Experience Required for CMRL recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for the post of General Manager must have post-qualification experience of minimum 20 years and in case of deputation, the officer must be an IRSSE / Group ‘A’ / SAG or equivalent grade/rank possessing experience in design, installation, testing, commissioning & operation of Electronic Interlocking for Railway signaling, and automatic signaling system based on AFTC/Axle Counter based track detection. Candidate having experience in train protection & warning systems will be an added advantage.

Age limit for CMRL recruitment 2023:

The maximum age limit for applying on a deputation basis is 55 years. The minimum age limit for applying on a Contract basis is 44 years and the maximum age limit is 55 years.

Tenure for CMRL recruitment 2023:

The candidate will be appointed on a tenure of 3 years which can be extended up to 5 years.
