CLAT Merit List 2025: Category-wise Allotment for 24 NLUs, First Merit List on May 26
The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) will issue the CLAT Merit List 2025 for undergraduate and postgraduate courses after the end of CLAT Counselling Registrations 2025. The authority has begun accepting registrations for CLAT 2025 Counselling. A CLAT merit list includes the details of the individuals selected to get admitted to the participating NLUs in India. The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) announced the revised result for CLAT 2025 on May 17, 2025.
Colleges are allotted to the individuals on the basis of scores gained by them in the CLAT exam, ranks, and preferences marked in the application form. The list of selected students for CLAT colleges will be announced separately for the Five-year Integrated LLB and LLM courses. After the CLAT Merit List 2025 is out, the consortium will start the counselling and seat allotment process.
Only the candidates whose names are on the CLAT invite list can take part in the admission process. You can find details about the CLAT 2025 merit list for each college on the page below.
CLAT 2025 Merit List Dates
CLAT conselling will be conducted via online mode and the merit list for the same will be released on the basis of counselling schedule and instructions. Candidates selected for CLAT 2025 counselling will need to either accept the seat given to them or ask for a better one. They can also choose to leave the seat and stop taking part in the counselling if they don’t want to continue. Those who accept the seat or ask for an upgrade will have to pay the admission or course fee.| Event | Dates |

Follow the below stated steps below to download the CLAT 2025 First Merit List:- Step 1: Visit the official website of Consortium NLUs at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
- Step 2: On the homepage, click on 'CLAT 2025'.
- Step 3: Now, click on the CLAT 2025 first merit list.
- Step 4: Then, click on the preferred NLU for which the merit list is needed.
- Step 5: The CLAT 2025 first merit list will be displayed on the screen.
- Step 6: Check the list, save and download it for future reference.
