In accordance with the official notification of CMRL Recruitment 2024, the opportunity is opened for the posts of General Manager, Additional General Manager, Joint General Manager, Deputy General Manager, Assistant Manager and Line Supervisor/ Crew Controller. There are 16 vacancies available for the mentioned opportunities.

Salary for CMRL Recruitment 2024:

As stated in the official notification of CMRL Recruitment 2024, the selected candidates will get a monthly wage in the range of Rs.62000 to 225000 according to the posts.

Qualification and Experience Required for CMRL Recruitment 2024:

In line with the official notification of CMRL Recruitment 2024, the educational qualification and experience according to the posts are as listed below:

General Manager (AFC, Tele and IT):

• The candidates should have a B.E/ B.Tech in ECE/ IT/ CSE/ EEE or a combination of any of these disciplines from a Govt. recognized Institute/ University approved by AICTE/ UGC.

Experience:

For Deputation basis:

• The candidates should be a SAG grade (IRSSE/ ITS) Group A officer with a minimum of 20 years of experience in Railways or any PSUs or Govt organisation.
• Shall have experience in design, installation, testing, commissioning and operation of backbone OFC, copper or other cable, SDH and UHF equipment, commissioning of LAN/ WAN Server, digital/ IP exchanges, PA System and Surveillance system.
• Should have experience in tendering and contract management.
• IT and AFC experience shall be an added advantage and is preferable.

For Contract Basis:

• The incumbent must have post-qualification Executive experience of a minimum of 20 years. Out of 20 years of experience, the candidate must have a minimum of 15 years of experience in Contract Management, Installation, testing and commissioning and/or Operation and maintenance of Metro/ LRT/High-Speed Rail Telecommunication/ AFC/ IT systems/ reputed private organizations.
• The incumbent should be working in a similar position or should have 5 years of relevant experience in the immediate lower post/ equivalent scale.
• Experience in Metro Railway project operation of the wireless transmission system, Data Communication systems required for signalling and centralized operations and mission-critical communication systems would be an added advantage.

Additional General Manager (Signal):

• The candidates should have a B.E/ B.Tech in (ECE)/ (EEE) or a combination of any of these disciplines from a Govt. recognized Institute / University approved by AICTE/ UGC. Post-graduation in the relevant field is an added advantage.

Experience:

For Deputation Basis:

• The candidates should be SG grade (IRSSE) officers in Group A with a minimum of 17 years of experience.
• Should possess experience in design, installation, testing, commissioning and operation of Electronic Interlocking for Railway signalling, and automatic signalling systems based on AFTC/ Axle Counter track detection. Experience in Train Protection and Warning Systems will be an added advantage.
• Should have experience in tendering and contract management.

For Contract basis:

• The incumbent should possess experience in post-qualification Executive experience of 17 years of 17 yrs experience, the incumbent must have a minimum of 12 years of experience in the implementation/ execution of projects/ maintaining assets in the Metro Signalling system such as CBTC, distance to go-based Metro Signaling etc in reputed private organizations or Railway Systems/ Metro/ LRT/ Sub-urban Rail systems.
• The incumbent should be working in a similar position or should have 5 years of relevant experience in the immediate lower post/ equivalent scale.
• Should have experience in tendering and contract management.
• Implementation of design, installation, and commissioning of backbone OFC, copper or other cable, commissioning of LAN/ WAN server, digital/ IP exchanges, PA System and Surveillance System, and wireless transmission system will be an added advantage.

Tenure for CMRL Recruitment 2024:

As mentioned in the official notification of CMRL Recruitment 2024, the appointment will be on a deputation basis. The selected candidates will be appointed for an initial period of 03 years, which may be extended further for an appropriate period of upto 05 years.

Application Fee for CMRL Recruitment 2024:

The candidates applying for CMRL Recruitment 2024, have to pay an application fee according to the categories. The application fee has to be paid by the candidates in the online mode.

• The Unreserved and candidates falling under other categories are required to pay/ transfer a Non-refundable fee of Rs.300 and SC/ ST are required to pay/ transfer a non-refundable fee of Rs.50 (processing fees).

Selection Procedure for CMRL Recruitment 2024:

The candidates who are eligible and qualified for CMRL Recruitment 2024, will be selected on the basis of their performance in the interview which will be conducted by the committee. The candidates selected in the Interview Process have to undergo the Medical Examination conducted by the committee as a part of the selection procedure.
