Period of Contract: The above post is temporary in nature and for a period of three years, extendable for a further period of two years subject to organizational requirements and individual performance.

Experience Required for Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) Recruitment 2022

Essential:- Should have sailed as Chief Engineer on Indian or Foreign going Ships.

Desirable:-

1. Candidates who have teaching experience in DGS approved Institutes.
2. Done a “Vertical Integration Course on Training (VICT)” or “Training for Trainers and Assessors (TOTA)” course prior to 1st Oct 2018 conducted by DGS approved Institutes

Educational Qualification for Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) Recruitment 2022

1. Degree in Engineering from a recognized university.
2. Certificate of Competency (COC) issued or recognized by DGS, Government of India, as Marine Engineer Officer Class I (MEO Class I)- Unlimited Horse Power

Age: Not to exceed 70 years, the upper age limit for the post shall be as of 21 June 2022 i.e. applicants should be born on or after 22 June 1952.

Method of Selection & Mode of receipt of application:

1. The method of selection shall be through a Personal Interview(out of 100 marks) to be held at CSL, Kochi or interview through electronic media.
2. Applicants meeting the requirements shall attend Walk in selection, for the post from 0900 Hrs to 1300 Hrs on 21 June 2022, and submit the applications in the prescribed format along with the self-attested copies of certificates in the drop boxes provided at Visitor’s Facilitation Centre, Ravipuram Gate, Cochin Shipyard Limited, Kochi – 682015.

4. The applications shall be verified subsequently and candidates who successfully complete the certificate verification and are shortlisted shall only be allowed to attend the Personal Interview on subsequent dates, which shall be communicated separately to the short-listed candidates through e-mail / CSL website.
