Overview:

Qatar Airways is hiring an experienced Senior Accountant – Account Receivable at their Ahmedabad location. The position will be responsible for performing account receivables activities like verifying, processing & reconciling invoices/ expenses as per company policy, procedures & guidelines.

The complete details of this job are as follows:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Raising credit/ Debit notes to AR customers
• Execute cash application on daily basis by checking supporting documents & payment received in bank
• Analysis of agents sales performance versus credit limits/ securities furnished & report to team lead
• Preparing monthly AR reconciliations
• Responding to queries of internal & external audits
• Document change/ updates in SOP
• Performing other duties as directed by Team lead

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree or equivalent in Commerce with relevant experience
• Experience in AR team of global organization
• Minimum 2 years relevant work experience
• Prefer candidates from Airline industry
• Working knowledge of IATA/ ICH/ ICCS/ CASS rules
• Knowledge of oracle ERP
• Good understanding of local accounting standards
• Strong communication skills
