Overview:

Deloitte is hiring an experienced Analyst/Senior Analyst-BGS-USI Transformation Office Applied Scientist at their Mumbai and Bengaluru locations. The Transformation Office’s mission is to reimagine & leverage the opportunity to transform the way businesses & Enabling Areas deliver their services. As an applied scientist, you will be working through research and development of latest Generative AI concepts, either by implementing a small application or a Proof of Concept and show case relevant use cases to our business leaders.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Identify opportunities where Generative AI and Machine Learning can be leveraged to streamline processes, automate tasks, and improve decision-making capabilities.
• Engage in the brainstorming, ideation, and development of Generative AI systems and workflows, ensuring they are scalable, flexible, and efficient in processing large volumes of data. Continuously evaluate and iterate on these workflows to augment system performance and accuracy.
• Remain informed about the latest technological advancements in AI, including new technologies, frameworks, and algorithms. Drive the adoption of cutting-edge AI solutions by rigorously researching and evaluating emerging technologies, ensuring our offerings are competitive.
• Collaborate with Software Developers to deploy research prototypes or to integrate advanced AI workflows into existing platforms or applications.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Business Stakeholders, to precisely define AI requirements and deliver solutions that align with business goals.
• Effectively communicate complex AI concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding across the board.
• Commit to ethical AI practices by promoting fairness, transparency, and accountability in all AI-system deployments. Actively work to identify and mitigate biases and potential risks associated with AI systems to ensure their responsible use.
• Demonstrate capability in fine-tuning and deploying adaptable Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Manage dependencies and maintain source code repositories, such as Git, ensuring code integrity and facilitating collaboration.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, facilitating effective coordination across teams in a collaborative environment.

Mandatory Skills:

• Profound understanding of Python coding concepts and expertise in UI Prototyping libraries such as Streamlit and Gradio, coupled with skills in Prompt Engineering.
• Experienced in the design and development of Generative AI systems, encompassing machine learning, deep learning, and neural network technologies. Well-versed in the concepts, models, and methodologies of Generative AI.
• Good foundation in cloud computing platforms including Azure, GCP, and AWS, with a track record of deploying AI models on these platforms.
• Proficient in designing medium-scale Generative AI solutions, with a focus on data integration, cleansing, and transformation techniques.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities, complemented by a creative mindset and a penchant for innovative solutions.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, essential for working efficiently in multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with ethical AI practices and regulations is considered an advantage.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s / master’s degree in computer science from a Tier I institution with relevant work experience between 0 to 4 years.
