UBS is hiring an experienced Research – APAC Equity – Consumer Associate at their Mumbai location. You’ll be working in the UBS India Research team in Mumbai. As a research analyst, you’ll play an important role in analyzing industry dynamics and providing investment recommendations across consumers sector. The team works hard to make sure our clients listen to differentiated industry themes, stock ideas generated by us.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conduct valuation analysis focusing on consumers sector
• Convert industry knowledge into understandable investment opinions
• Build and maintain financial models to evaluate historical information and generate projections
• Provide investment recommendations based on modelling, valuation and risk assessments
• Remain current on market developments to help frame investment strategies.

Qualifications

• Consumer research analyst with ideally 4-5 years of experience.
• Excellent writing skills to communicate relevant themes and research.
• Have successfully built and maintained financial valuation models
• Confident ability to review and interpret annual reports and financial statements
• Adept at communicating fundamental views on and off paper in an articulate and confident manner
• Inquisitive, organized and able to work independently
• Maintain relationships with various corporates, industry experts to help gain sector insights
