Post Name and Vacancies for CSL Recruitment 2024:

CSL is looking qualified applicants for roles of Assistant Engineer (Weapons), Assistant Administrative Officer and Accountant. For the mentioned roles, there are 03 vacant seats.

Place of Posting for CSL Recruitment 2024:

In accordance with the official notification of CSL Recruitment 2024, the selected candidate will be posted at CSL Mumbai Ship Repair Unit (CMSRU)/any other CSL units/project sites as desired by CSL. However, depending upon project requirements, the candidates are liable to be transferred within different units of CSL.

Qualification for CSL Recruitment 2024:

Candidates must have the given below Qualification to apply for CSL Recruitment 2024.

For Assistant Engineer (Weapons)-

• Candidate must have done 03-year Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education or equivalent qualifications in the case of Ex-servicemen.

Experience-

• Candidate must have 07 years post qualification experience in the Indian Navy / Ship Building/ Ship Repair/ Engineering Company in the areas of installation, maintenance, repairs, trials and commissioning of weapons-related Machinery, communication, sensors and combat management systems on Naval vessels, out of which 02 years should be in a supervisory grade.

For Assistant Administrative Officer-

• Candidate must have Degree in Arts / Science/ Commerce OR candidates must have Passed in a three-year Diploma in Commercial Practice/ Computer Engineering/Information Technology securing a minimum of 60% of marks from a State Board of Technical Education. Seven years post qualification experience in matters relating to Office work, Updating ERP Systems, Man hour Booking, Data entry, Record and Report Generation, and maintenance of files, registers and records in a Shipyard/ Engineering Company, out of which two years should be in a supervisory grade, and must be Computer savvy.

For Accountant–

• Candidate must have Graduation degree with an M.Com and 07 years post qualification experience in Finance/ Accounting in a Government Establishment / Public or Private Sector Undertaking OR Candidates must have Graduation degree with a Pass in the CA/CMA Intermediate examination with Five years post qualification experience in Finance /Accounting in a Government Establishment or Public Sector Undertaking or Private Sector Undertaking.

Experience–

• Candidate must have 02 years of experience in a Supervisory Grade.
• Candidates having experience of working in a computerized environment will be given an added advantage.

Age Limit for CSL Recruitment 2024:

The applicant’s age should not exceed 45 years to be eligible for CSL Recruitment 2024.

Salary for CSL Recruitment 2024:

A monthly remuneration between Rs. 28000 to Rs. 110000 will be given to the selected candidate for CSL Recruitment 2024.

Selection Procedure for CSL Recruitment 2024:

As stated in the official notification of CSL Recruitment 2024, candidates will be selected on the basis of Written test and Power point presentation on work experience . The date, time and venue for the selection process will be intimated later to the shortlisted applicants.

Phase I- Written test

Candidates will be selected on the basis of Objective type test shall be of 45 minutes duration and consists of two parts-

• Part A- General Knowledge, General English, Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude
• Part B- Discipline related

Phase II- Power point presentation on work experience

It will be held at CSL- Mumbai Ship Repair Unit or any other location as decided by CSL.
