Overview:
Oceaneering is hiring an experienced Senior Audit Analyst at their Chandigarh location. The primary purpose of the Internal Audit Data Analytics Associate is to be part of data analytics team development of data analytics, data mining, and continuous auditing strategies and tactics in compliance with all organizational and professional ethical standards.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support of Internal Audit’s yearly audit plan execution by identifying, developing, documenting, or executing and delivering professional data (audit) analytics during all relevant stages of an audit using Computer-Assisted Auditing Technology (CAAT).
- Develop reports & visualization dashboards based on the findings.
- Understand the organization’s data structures and content, to lead the design and execution of data analytics to achieve efficiencies and increase effectiveness of our overall audit activities.
- Perform data mining and analysis to facilitate the identification and communication of outliers and trends in the business.
- Assist auditors in obtaining necessary data from Oracle for audits.
- Design and execute necessary models and scripting to adequately address
- Provide additional support on audits or other internal audit initiatives when necessary.
- Identify, develop and maintain continuous auditing/monitoring processes.
- Participate on multiple projects at the same time, including small cross-functional projects
- Share regular updates about work
- Monitor performance on relevant key performance indicators
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
- Work towards individual goals aligned with department and organizational objectives
- Comply to organizational HR policies and procedures
- Ensure that the Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to so far as is reasonably practicable in order to ensure a safe working environment.
- Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.
- Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company.
- Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 1-4 years of advanced application of data analytics techniques and tools in a complex business environment, including the application of general statistical concepts against large volumes of data.
- BE/MA/MBA degree from an accredited college or university (preferably in Management Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Business, Management, Accounting, Finance or related field)
- 1-3 years’ experience using Data Analysis and Business Intelligence tools for purposes of data manipulation and analysis using tools such as Tableau, Business Objects, MS-Excel, MS-Access, MS-SQL Server, SQL, PLSQL Developer, ACL, Visual Basic, etc.
Preferred Skills:
- Candidates gaining the above experience through role(s) in Internal Audit will be preferred.
- Experience applying fraud monitoring and detection techniques during design and execution of data analytics.
- Advanced degree from an accredited college or university (preferably in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Business, Management, Accounting, Finance or related field)
- CPA, CIA, CISA, CA, CFE or other relevant professional certifications
- Demonstrated ability and experience in leading and developing data analytics teams
- Demonstrated proficiency in establishing and maintaining a successful Continuous Auditing environment
- Ability to extract, define and analyze complex data, and to draw relevant conclusions in support of audit objectives.
- Ability to proactively expand knowledge and understanding of technical environments through self-directed research, on-the-job experience, and professional networking.
- Ability to document work performed to enable external re-performance.
- Ability to think critically through recognizing assumptions, evaluating arguments and drawing conclusions.
- Ability to maintain composure and deliver results while under pressure managing multiple assignments and priorities.
- Good communication skills in English.
