Delhi Custom Arrests 2 Passengers for Smuggling Gold Worth Rs. 7.50 Crore In one of the biggest & landmark case, On 28.03.2022, Delhi Airport Customs AIU team intercepted two Kenyan for smuggling gold worth Rs. 7.50 Crore. The accuses were arriving from Nairobi to Delhi via Addis Ababa. Custom Officials seized 19 Gold bars weighing 15.576 kilograms worth Rs 7.50 crore. Gold was concealed in specially made pockets in pants worn by passengers. Further investigation is under progress.
