Delivery Manager – IT Vacancy at Ford

Overview:

Ford is hiring an experienced Delivery Manager – IT at their Chennai location. You will delivery Manager to lead eCommerce implementation managing a team of developers and multiple supplier teams.

The complete details of this job are as follows:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Must have – Technical implementation skills for REACT, IICS and Sterling Order Management.
• Must have  – Good understanding of MS&S
• Must Have – Prior experience in delivering cross functional programs in the PDO model (Agile)
• Must Have – Experience in leading a team, building tech talent.
• Nice to have – Work experience in integrating with Ford Foundational Services system and knowledge in Ford Dealer systems, reward systems, payment systems.
• Must have – Hands-on experience in managing Ford PCF, GCP environment and related DevOps tech stacks. Java based hands – on solutioning skills to guide team and develop strategies.
• Must have – Strong Experience with Vendor management.

Responsibility:

• Lead a team of Full stack Java Developers, Sterling Order Management ( OMS), and IICS developers to deliver versatile set of services for Aftermarket ecommerce portfolio
• Work with Business customers and derive strategic roadmap and diligently plan to convert the milestones to delivery.
• Provide technical leadership to the team and challenge status quo by questioning current state and lead continuous improvement. Technical problem solving and solutioning.
• Strategic mindset with patience and temperament to work with demanding business partners, and guide them towards practical, implementable solutions.
• Collaborate with integration systems product owners/managers, Enterprise architects and GCP architects for solution definition.
• Prioritization of work based on business value. Work with Business and other stakeholders to deliver quick win opportunities.
• Track and Measure value delivery against the OKR and KPI
• Improve PDO maturity in the team with superior knowledge of Agile methodology and practices.
• Build capability and talent in the team to reduce dependency on purchased services.
• Looks for opportunities on improvement in technology landscape to keep the tech stack up-to date and support the enterprise initiatives.
