1- Joint Director ( Performance Standard and Engineering)- 01

2- Advisor (Finance)- 01

3- Joint Director (Law) – 01

4- Deputy Director (Consumer Assistance)- 01

5- Steno- Cum- Computer Operator- 02

Tenure– The appointment is made on a contractual basis for a period of 3 years which shall be extendable by each year, subject to concurence of Parent Department of Deputationist.

Salary for DERC Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notifiaction of DERC recruitment 2023 the salary is given below-

For Joint Director and Advisor- Candidates will be given a monthly remuneration between Rs. 123100 to Rs. 215900.

For Deputy Director- Candidates will be given a monthly remuneration between Rs. 67700 to Rs. 208700.

For Steno-cum- Computer Operator- Candidates will be given a monthly remuneration between Rs. 9300 to Rs. 34800

Age Limit for DERC Recruitment 2023:

As given in the notification of DERC recruitment 2023, the pay scale is given below-

For Joint Director ( Performance Standard and Engineering) Joint Director (law), Deputy Director and Steno-cum-computer operator on a deputation basis- The upper age limit is 56 years.

For Joint Director (Law) (Direct) – The upper age limit is 50 years.

For Deputy Director (Consumer Assistance) (Direct) – The upper age limit is 45 years.

For Steno- Cum- Computer Operator (Direct)- The upper age limit is 30 years.

Qualification for DERC Recruitment 2023:

Candidates must have the given below qualification to apply for DERC recruitment 2023.

For Joint Director ( Performance Standard and Engineering)- 

Degree in Engineering from a recognized institution.

Officers holding analogous posts on regular basis. OR With 2 years regular service in the pay Matrix Level – 12 (7th CPC)/ PB-3 (pre-revised) Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade Pay Rs.7600/- OR With 5 years regular service in the pay matrix level – 11 (7th CPC) / PB-3 (pre-revised) Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade Pay Rs.6600

For Advisor (Finance)- 

MBA in Finance OR Chartered Accountant or Certified Cost Accountant preferably with Engineering Degree from a premier, reputed & recognized institution/ University.

Officers holding analogous posts on regular basis OR With 2 years regular service in the pay Matrix Level – 12 ( 7th CPC)/ PB-3 (pre-revised) Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade Pay Rs. 7600/-. OR With 5 years regular service in the pay matrix level-11 (7th CPC)/ PB-3 (pre-revised) Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade Pay Rs 6600

For Joint Director (Law) – 

Law Degree from a recognized University.

Officers holding analogous posts on regular basis OR With 2 years regular service in the pay Matrix Level – 12 (7th CPC)/PB-3 (pre-revised) Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade Pay Rs. 7600/- ORWith 5 years regular service in the pay matrix level – 11 (7th CPC)/PB-3 (pre-revised) Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade Pay Rs 6600

For Deputy Director (Consumer Assistance)- 

Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognised University/Institution.

Five years experience in power sector in areas directly connected to end users.

Demonstrated ability in dealing with consumer problems.

For Steno- Cum- Computer Operator- 

Graduate with proficiency in English Typing (40 wpm), English Shorthand (80 wpm).

Diploma / Certificate in computing OR equivalent from recognised / reputed institution.
