Age Limit for DGCA Recruitment 2024:

The age limit to apply for DGCA Recruitment 2024 is listed below-

• The maximum age limit is 58 years for Consultant {Dy. CFOI (A)}.
• The maximum age limit is 64 years for Consultant (SFOI (A)), Consultant (FOI (A)) and Consultant (FOI (H)).

The selected candidates for DGCA Recruitment 2024 will be given a monthly salary as mentioned below-

Qualification for DGCA Recruitment 2024:

Candidates who have passed 10+2 or higher qualification like Graduation or Post Graduation etc. with Physics and Mathematics as subjects from a recognized Board or University or Institute are eligible to apply for DGCA Recruitment 2024.

Technical Requirements for DGCA Recruitment 2024:

The candidates must have the technical requirements for applying to DGCA Recruitment 2024 as given below-

For Consultant {Deputy Chief Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane)}-

• Candidate should have a valid Indian Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) issued by DGCA on Civil Aircraft used for Air Transport.
• Pilot in Command Rating (PIC) on Civil Aircraft used for Air Transport with All Up Weight (AUW) above 5700 Kgs. 
• Candidate should have valid Instrument Rating (IR) and Pilot Proficiency Check (PPC) on Civil Aircraft used for Air Transport endorsed on license. 
• Total flying experience not less than 6500 hours on Aircraft, out of which not less than 5000 hours as PIC on Civil Aircraft used for Air Transport. 
• Valid Class I Medical Assessment issued by DGCA and in case of any limitation it will be subject to the approval of the Medical Directorate of DGCA. 
• Open Rating for all types of Aeroplanes having all up weight not exceeding 5700 Kgs, issued by DGCA. In case the applicant does not possess an Open Rating, she/he may apply it in DGCA before the last date of submission of the online application and submit proof thereof along with the physical application.
• Current examiner on Civil Aircraft used for Air Transport approved by DGCA. 
• Accident-free record in the preceding five years from the date of application. (In case a record for the complete period is not available, a self-declaration for the same may be submitted).
• Candidate should not be BA positive during the last three years. (A self-declaration for the same be submitted, especially for pilots who were flying abroad.). 
• Candidate should have NOC from parent employer, at the time of joining; if applicable.

Desirable-

• The candidate should have a Graduation in Engineering or a Master’s Degree in Science from a recognized University or institute.

For Consultant {Senior Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane)}-

• The candidate should have a valid Indian Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) issued by DGCA on Civil Aircraft used for Air Transport.

Tenure for DGCA Recruitment 2024:

The engagement of DGCA Recruitment 2024 is made on a contract basis and the selected candidates will be engaged initially for a period of one year or till the Consultant (FOI) attains the age of 65 years or till the Consultant (FOI) remains eligible as per the eligibility requirements or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The place of posting will be at  DGCA (Hqrs.) or any other Regional Offices of DGCA.

Selection Process for DGCA Recruitment 2024:

The candidates will be selected for DGCA Recruitment 2024 on the basis of an interview and document verification. The date, time and venue of the selection process will be communicated later to the shortlisted candidates.
