DOT Recruitment 2022: Office of Sr. DDG, DoT, Kerala LSA, proposes to hire eligible candidates to fill up the vacant posts in Asst. Director/Sub Divisional Engineer on a deputation basis among the staffs working in Central or State Governments, Union Territories, Public Sector Undertakings, Universities, Recognized Research Institutions or Statutory and Autonomous bodies. There are 06 vacancies for this post. The period of deputation shall be for 3 (three) years initially, extendable further up to 5 years or till superannuation whichever is earlier, if required, in the exigencies of public services. The deputation can be terminated at any time prior to completion of deputation tenure as per requirement. The age of the applicant for the posts of Asst. Director/Sub Divisional Engineer shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of the application. The Remuneration of the selected candidate will be Level 8 (Rs. 47,600- 151100) in the Pay Matrix of the 7th CPC.

Eligible and willing candidates may apply through the proper channel in the prescribed format. Cadre authorities/Head of the Departments are requested to forward applications of eligible and willing candidates whose services can be spared on deputation immediately on their selection. The applications of only such officers would be considered that are routed through proper channels and are accompanied by documents. The applications of suitable and eligible officers complete in all respects, in the prescribed format, along with the documents listed above may be forwarded to the approving authority of Kerala LSA. Qualification for DOT Recruitment 2022

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in Electrical or Electronics or Electrical Communication or Computer Science or Telecommunications or Information Technology or Instrumentation from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutes established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act 1956.

OR

Passed Sections A and B of the Institution Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India).

OR

Obtained a Degree or Diploma in Engineering from such foreign University or College or Institution and under such conditions as may be recognized by the Government for the purpose from time to time.

OR

Passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India)

OR

Passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Radio Engineers, London held after November 1959

OR

Passed Associate Membership Examination Parts II and Part III or Sections A and B of the Aeronautical Society of India.

Two years of experience in the field of Telecommunication and Administration.

For Ex-Servicemen

The armed forces personnel of the rank of subedar-Major (level 8), Subedar(level 7 and Naib-Subedar (level 6)or equivalent rank in Air force or Navy who are due to retire or to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year and have the qualifications and experience as prescribed as above shall also be considered. If selected, such officers will be given deputation terms up to the date on which they are due for release from the armed forces and thereafter they may be continued on re-employment terms.

The Remuneration of the selected candidate will be Level 8 (Rs. 47,600- 151100) in the Pay Matrix of the 7th CPC.
